Production designer, prop modellers, scenic painter
A joint exercise between production designers and cinematographers, we were tasked to recreate a still life painting as close as possible. With cinematographers Anna McGirr and Jesse Phillips, we chose Stilleven met Nautilus (2020) by Victor Muller. Going a bit above and beyond, we created several layers for the various hedges and objects on the table. Before the project construction, I created a 1:50 white card model to most accurately recreate the proportions. I am incredibly proud of this work and is my favorite project to date.
